WPS is DOA…this year, anyway. Amidst a legal dispute over the ouster of the magicJack franchise and its owner Dan Borislow, the Women’s Professional Soccer league announced yesterday it won’t play games at all in 2012.
“We have diverted so many resources into litigation,” said WPS CEO Jennifer O’Sullivan. “This is something that needs to be resolved before we can move forward with play.”
